Dean Robinson


Dean started his career in the heating and gas industry as an apprentice in 2005 and later went on to become a qualified gas engineer under corgi and later gas safe. He has a wide experience of property types from 1 bed flats to 10 bed mansions and everything in between.

Originally working on social housing and MOD contracts for Hudson engineering, as a boiler breakdown and service engineer, working on a wide variety of gas appliances and heating systems including back boilers, condensing boilers, balanced flue boilers ect. He was able to quickly gain the experience needed to fault find and repair all types of heating systems and boilers, cookers and fires.

In 2009 Dean set out on his own as a sole trader installing, repairing and servicing heating system and gas appliances as well as general plumbing maintenance in Billericay, Essex and the surrounding areas.

He also carries out work for a national insurance company and ATAG as a service and repair technician.

As well as keeping his gas qualifications up to date every 5 years as required by law, he also regularly attends boiler manufacturer and controls courses to keep up to date with the latest heating technology, installation and fault finding techniques.

He was an early adopter of smart thermostats and quickly gained accreditation with both Honeywell and nest becoming a nest certified professional and Honeywell connected specialist, and has since built up a wealth of knowledge and experience on the best utilisation of connected heating systems in your home to maximise comfort and efficiency.
